Healthy Protein Pancakes

August 31, 2017

I absolutely love pancakes on a Sunday morning & these babies actually make for the perfect brunch given how filling they are. I always try to zap misconceptions about diets. There is absolutely no need to go on extreme diets, the key is simply eating clean, finding substitutes for unhealthy stuff & putting in enough effort to satisfy your tummy with food that is not only delicious but also nourishing. My Website is not just about the products I make which are available to purchase. This section is all about sharing my food experiences with you. I am constantly trying to experiment in the kitchen to come up with recipes that are easy, healthy & yummy! So stay tuned, lots more to come. For now, its pancake time!

You can even make the base pancakes & then switch it up with different toppings! Don't worry, I will give you some great ideas! Before that, lets get started with the recipe!

  • 1 cup Oat Flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1/2 tsp of palm sugar

  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed

  • Half a cup of yogurt/soy yogurt (beaten)

  • Half cup almond/soy milk

  • A pinch of salt

  • Mix all the dry ingredients well

  • Add the Olive oil

  • Add the Yogurt

  • Now slowly start adding the milk in, till you get a nice smooth consistency

Leave the batter to set for 15 minutes at room temperature.

Heat up a pan with a drizzle of olive oil

Pour about half a cup of batter into the pan and swirl it around till round but not too thin.

Let cook for abut a minute & then flip! Allow to cook for another couple of minutes.

Stack up your pancakes & top with organic honey & Granola ( You can get your hands on our lovely homemade granola from our online store right here on the website.
